Norman I. Cloyed, 93, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, Dec.28, 2018.
Born to IW Cloyed and Leona Johnson on March 31, 1925 in Syracuse,  Norm was a WW2 Sergeant, Korean War Veteran, and a Purple Heart Recipient.
Norm worked for the USPS for 39 years, AKSARBEN Race Track 25 years, Quest Diagnostic, Duteau Chevrolet, and Sid Dillon.
He is survived by his daughter; Patti Cloyed Wenzel, grandson; Easton Wenzel, step-daughters; Julie Pearson Anderson (Clay), Kerry Pearson, sons; Eric (Katie) Jones, Brent Jones, Jeffrey (Heidi) Pearson, Michelle (Jon) Pearson Gilliand.
Norm is preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Leona, brother; Duane, wife; Frances Hefner Cloyed, son; Gregory, and wife; Delores Pearson Cloyed.
Funeral services will be held on 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at Luther Memorial Church, 1162 Mohawk Street, Syracuse, followed by a military graveside service.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at Luther Memorial Church.
Memorials may be given to the family for future donation to Patriotic Productions.
