Iowa Hunter Education Classes will be held in the conference room at AgriVision Equipment Group, 3106 274th Ave., in Hamburg, on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. followed by a live firing on Sunday, Aug. 12th, from 1 til 3 p.m. Pizza & pop will be provided on Saturday by the Ducks Unlimited Twin Rivers Chapter. Hunter education certification is mandatory for anyone born on or after January 1, 1972 who wishes to purchase an Iowa hunting license. A person who is 11 years old or older may enroll in a class, but those who are 11 and successfully complete the class shall be issued a certificate which becomes valid on the person’s 12th birthday. Students must attend all 10 hours of classes and pass the final exam in order to obtain a certificate.
