After back-to-back losses, Sidnie Baier got the Cowgirls headed back in the right direction by going 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored, two triples, and two RBI in a 11-0 win against Fremont-Mills on Saturday, June 16.

Four innings is all Sidney needed to get the win.  A five run fourth inning helped end the game due to the mercy rule.

Sidney scored 11 runs on seven hits.
Caitlyn Ward was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, including a triple.

Noted hitters: Jolie Sheldon, single, two runs scored; Zoe Moores, single, run scored, one RBI; Presley Brumbaugh, single, run scored; McClintock, one RBI, three runs scored.

Olivia Larsen earned the win and is now 7-2 overall with a 2.89 ERA.  Larsen allowed no runs, on three hits, and struck out eight.

Sidney has been aggressive on the base paths this summer.  They have attempted 111 stolen bases and have been successful on 109 tries.

As a team, the Cowgirls have averaged 8.7 runs per game and have a team ERA of 3.88.

The Cowgirls are now 13-5 on the season.
