The Sidney Cowgirls edged Fremont Mills in team points 163-155, as Maddy Duncan placed first in four individual events on Tuesday, May 1 at the Fremont Mills Invite.
Duncan flew down the track during the 100 meter dash and placed first with a time of 13.15.
In the 200 meter dash, Duncan came in first and a time of 27.87.
During the 400 meter dash, Maddy crossed the finish line with a first place time of 1:01.65.
In the long jump event, Duncan leaped to first place finish with a jump of 16-05.50.
Jaden Daffer was victorious in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.72.
Savannah Hall placed second in the 1500 meter run and a time of 5:53.32.
Hall placed second in the 800 meter run and a time of 2:46.14.
During the 3000 meter run, Camryn McClintock and Caitlyn Ward finished back to back. McClintock placed second with a time of 13:30.10 and Ward placed third and a time of 13:33.27.
4x400 Meter Relay; Sarah Daly, Presley Brumbaugh, Caitlyn Ward, and Savannah Hall placed 1st, 4:52.47.
4x800 Meter Relay; Savannah Hall, Presley Brumbaugh, Olivia Larsen, and Caitlyn Rasco, 1st, 11:40.40.
In the boys events, Sidney placed second with 122 team points. Fremont Mills won with 158 points.
In the 800 meter run, Noah Jorgenson placed first with a time of 2:09.87. Jaden Sears came in second with a time of 2:10.87.
Adam Thompson dominated the 3200 meter by placing first with a time of 10:26.48.
Tommie Wilson placed second in the discus with a throw of 125-06. Cameron Whitehead placed third with a toss of 117-00.
During the boys shot put event, Brady Lorimor placed third with a throw of 38-04.5 and Wilson placed fourth with a throw of 37-11.50.
4x800 Meter Relay; Jaden Sears, Cole Hunt, Mister McNaughton, and Adam Thompson finished 1st, 9:05.21.
1600 Meter Medley; Bryson Duncan, Cody Hankins, Jaden Sears, and Noah Jorgenson placed 1st, 3:54.34.
The boys and girls track team will be at Mount Ayr High School on Thursday, May, 3 starting at 4:30 pm.
