Southwest Iowa boys and girls golf took part in the Heartland Christian Invite as Bryson Duncan and Zoe Moores earned medals on Wednesday, April, 25 at the Fox Run Golf Course in Council Bluffs, IA.

Duncan placed first with a scorecard of 80.  In the girls division, Moores came away with a runner-up finish and a score of 96.  Moore was three strokes off of first place.

As a team, the SWI girls finished fifth with a card of 462 as Tia McClane shot a 115.
In the boys division, SWI placed third as Zayne Osborn had a solid showing by carding an 84 and a fourth place finish.

SWI also participated in the Corner Conference Triangular where the girls lost by one stroke to East Mills 227-228.

Moores placed second with a score of 48. Tia McClane carded a 58 and a third place finish.  Sierra Schebaum scored a 59.  Haley Hobbie, 63.  Emma Haning, 74.

The SWI boys defeated East Mills in solid fashion 191-220.  Duncan led the way with a score of 40.  Osborn came in third with a card of 44.  Connor Owen, 54.  Colton Moore, 53.  Jackson Gorham, 56.

SWI boys will be in tournament action on Saturday, April, 28 at the Fremont County Golf Course starting at 8:30 am.



The SWI girls picked up a first place victory at Lenox as Zoe Moores placed first on Thursday, April, 26.

SWI came in first by carding a 201.  SW Valley placed second by shooting a 226.
Zoe Moores ended her day in first with score card of 43.
Behind Moores was Tia McClane who carded a 47 and a second place finish.  Sierra Schebaum scored a 53.  Haley Hobbie, 58.  Abby Whitehead, 62.


Both girls and boys will be at East Mills on Wednesday, May, 2 at 2:00 pm.
