The wait is over—followers of Brown, Connelly, Grisham, Johansen, Kellerman, Naylor, Rylant, and Sandford will find new titles available at the Hamburg Public Library.
Author Rita Mae Brown expands her “Sister” Jane series with “Crazy Like A Fox.”  A priceless hunting horn is stolen and while Jane and her four-legged friends attempt to find the thief, they pick up the scent of a murder.
Harry Bosch searches for the truth in a double murder connected to the dangerous work of prescription drug abuse in Michael Connelly’s new thriller “Two Kinds of Truth.”  Tightly wrapped inside is a second story in which a long-imprisoned killer claims Harry framed him and has new evidence to prove it.  In his current legal thriller, John Grisham incorporates the real life experience of staggeringly large student loans.  In “The Rooster Bar,” three law students nearing the completion of their schooling with six-figure debts discover they’ve been duped by loan scams themselves.   Will it be revenge of the law school borrowers or a victory for corrupt corporation?
Romantic suspense is the genre of “Mind Games,” the newest book by Iris Johansen featuring Eve Duncan.  Set in Scotland, Jane MacGuire has been hunting a treasure for years.  While scouring the highlands, her dreams are afflicted by a girl in danger.  Who is she and what is she trying to tell Jane?
The crime genre is the realm of author Faye Kellerman.  “Killing Season” is her latest murder mystery featuring the abduction and murder of a teenage girl,  the commitment of her younger brother to find her killer, and a psychopath responsible for similar unsolved murders who has nothing to lose.
A new book for junior fiction readers arrives just in time for Thanksgiving.  In “Zach and the Turkey Attack!” by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, Zach finds the mean gobbler at his grandparents’ farm a major problem.  His plan is to build a contraption to scare the turkey, but in the process he may help to catch some petty thieves.
Cynthia Rylant is a popular children’s author who has two new books on the shelves on very different topics.
“Henny, Penny, Lenny, Denny, and Mike” think their life in a fish tank is fabulous until one day Lenny becomes stuck in the fairy castle. Can anyone of is aquatic friends help him?  Rylant’s second book, “Nativity,” is a simple retelling of a familiar story that expands into the Beatitudes.  Childlike artwork accompanies the text.
A popular John Sandford character, Virgil Flowers, is featured in “Deep Freeze.”  Class reunions bring good and bad memories, but in this case, Virgil discovers they may be deadly reminders.

A dead woman found frozen in a block of ice might be connected to a high school class that will soon celebrate its 20 year reunion.
Our list of new additions to the shelves does not stop there.  The author’s names might be less familiar, but they offer thrills of their own.  Included are novels by Laukkanen, Milchman, Albom, and Dashner.
Sex trafficking is in the news daily.  Author Owen Laukkanen bases his thriller “The Stolen Ones” on not the criminals but rather on the victims.  The murder of a Minnesota sheriff’s deputy puts a state investigator and an FBI special agent on the trail of a massive international sex-trafficking ring.  If your heart isn’t already pumping, pick up a spine-tingling thriller by Jenny Milchman.  As “Wicked River” begins newlyweds Natalie and Doug Larson are enjoying an isolated, back country honeymoon in the Adirondacks.  As their week progresses, it becomes clear they aren’t alone in the woods.  A man watches them and the forest is his domain.
Mitch Albom’s novel, “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto,” shares the story of a war orphan who becomes an amazing musician.
New in the YA section is “The Maze Runner,” Book 1 in a series by James Dashner.  Sixteen year old Thomas wakes up in the middle of a maze with no memory and realizes he must work with the community in which he finds himself if he is to escape.
Don’t wait another minute, make your way to the Hamburg Public Library and be the first to read these new selections.
