Dorothy "Dot" Larson, 86, of Nebraska City died July 10, 2010 at the Ambassador in Nebraska City. Dorothy Ann Harvey was born in Findley, Ohio, on Feb. 5, 1924, to Weyland and Ruth (Lee) Harvey. On Sept. 7, 1946, she married Keith "Tub" A. Larson in Hamburg, Iowa. After his death, she married Robert "Bob" Thiesfeld, who also preceded her in death.
She worked as the secretary for the Willis Printing Shop in Nebraska City for many years. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters Susan Griepenstroh and husband Patrick of Syracuse and Sally Ann Durham and husband Russell of Madison, Ind.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
There will be no visitation. A private family interment of ashes will be held at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the choice of the family.
