Benjamin Huber, 85, of Schuyler passed away Thursday June 7 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. A funeral service was to be held on Friday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Schuyler. Committal will be held in the Schuyler Cemetery.
Memorials can be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Benjamin Dwight Huber, was born Feb. 20, 1933, to George and Daisy (Price) Huber at St. Mary’s Hospital, Nebraska City. Ben graduated from Nebraska City High School in 1950 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1952. Ben married his sweetheart Pauline M. Mueller on May 13, 1956.
Ben is survived by his wife, Pauline Huber of Schuyler, one son, Steven W. Huber, Mitchell, S.D.; two daughters - Peggy Huber, Great Falls, Mont.; Julie (Mike) Orso of Great Falls, Mont.; three grandsons: Trevor, Nathan, and Caleb Orso. His sisters include: Mary Staack of Syracuse; Dorothy Gruenemeyer (twin sister) of Indianapolis, Ind.; Yvonne Smith of Meridian, Idaho; Karen Reinecke of Hughson, Calif.; sister-in-law Joan Huber of Nebraska City; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
 Ben was preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisy Huber, brother Bruce, and sister Beatrice Stastny.
