Larry M.  Hasty, age 77, died on Thursday, March 29, 2018, in Temecula, Calif., after complications following a stroke.  
He leaves behind his wife Aida, son Chris Hasty and two daughters,  Amie Cooper and Kimberly Wittenborn, and nine grandchildren.
He was born and raised in Nebraska City.  
Son of Beulah Beason and Cecil Hasty; brother to Jerry Hasty. Larry moved to Downey, Calif., in the early 1960’s, to become a Union Sheet Metal and Iron Worker.  
In the 1970’s, he and his wife moved to Grants Pass, Oregon with their three children starting Hasty Construction (Home Building).  
In 1973, Larry started another specialty construction company, Superior Roof Truss.  
In in late 80’s, he moved back to California starting another roof truss company, American Truss, that he successfully ran until his retirement in 2000.  Larry had the energy of ten people and lived life to its fullest.   
He had a passion for building, sailing, and cars.  His ultimate dream was to build a house on the beach to live out his days which he achieved in Rosarito, Mexico.  
A private ceremony will be held at sea with scattering of ashes attended by close family and friends.
