Ila M. Stanberry Lempka, 88, of Tecumseh, died March 13, 2018.
She was born Aug. 18, 1929, rural Brownell, Kan., to William and Mary T. (Smotherman) Likes.   
Ila married Clarence Paul “Stan” Stanberry March 21, 1950, at St. Mary, Kan.   
Clarence passed away Dec. 23, 1964. Ila married Raymond Lempka Feb. 5, 1966 at St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary.  Raymond passed away Oct. 3, 1985.
Later in life Ila worked nights at Wheaton’s in Syracuse.
She donated her body to the Anatomical Board to improve knowledge in the medical field.   
Survivors: children: Nancy Stanberry-Ktiyeb (Ahmed), San Antonio, Texas, and children Samir and Amina, Peggy Black (Harlan), Topeka, Kan., and children Sarah, Leslie and Monolito, Janet Fisser (Dean), Harbine,  and children Scott, Rebecca and Heidi, William Stanberry (Teresa), Nebraska City, and children Nathan, Nicole, Kyle and Kaitlyn, Robert Stanberry (Gail), Burr, and children Curtis and Ashley, Mariann Fangmeyer (Russell), Deshler, and children Maci and Brandon, Raymond “Jake” Lempka, Douglas, and Bryan Lempka (Crystal), Cook,  and children Mallory, Tricia and Jordon, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Jolene Prather, Hutchinson, Kan.; and sister-in-law, Donna Likes, Odessa, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, grandson, Derek Stanberry, granddaughter, Hannah Black, son-in-law, Darrel Sokolik, six brothers and two sisters.
Memorial mass was to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh with Father Craig Clinch officiating.  
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren. Inurnment was to be at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Services were entrusted to Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh.
