Thelma May (Schulz) Spiegel, 96, of Nebraska City (formerly Hamburg) passed away Nov. 27, 2017, at the Ambassador in Nebraska City.
Thelma was born on April 27, 1921, in Omaha; the daughter of Henry Adolph and Thelma Arlene (Eader) Schulz.
She worked at World Insurance Company in Omaha for many years.    
Thelma married Roger Clarence Spiegel on Aug. 10, 1972, in Omaha.  
Thelma and Roger resided in Pasadena, Calif., Omaha; Hamburg and Nebraska City.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger on April 17, 1998, and her brother, Henry J Schulz.  
Thelma is survived by her brother, William Albert Schulz of Kennsington, Md., nieces and nephews and her dear friends at the Ambassador that she considered family.
The family would like to thank Ambassador Health for the help of their caring and supportive staff.
Funeral Services were to be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.  Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, southeast of Hamburg.
There was to be visitation for Thelma on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
