Doris Anna Fletcher, age 76 of Nebraska City died May 29, 2017, at her home.  
She was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Nebraska City, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Boardman) Buterbaugh.  
Doris graduated from Nebraska City High School in 1958 and worked at Hested’s until she married Clyde Fletcher July 12, 1964, in Plattsmouth.
She formerly lived in Plattsmouth and Avoca.  Doris and Clyde operated a grocery store in Avoca for 26 years.
She also formerly worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Duff’s Nursing Home and Burger King in Nebraska City before she retired.  
Survivors include her husband, Clyde of Nebraska City; son, Randy Fletcher and wife Sheli of Weeping Water; grandchildren, Randy Jr. and fiancé Kristi Staack, Michael, Jayden and Trey; great grandson, Tarren: many other relatives and friends.  
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jim and Gerald Buterbaugh.
Funeral services were to be 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City.  
Cremation will follow the services and private family burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
Visitations will be 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Marshall Funeral Chapel with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in Nebraska City.
