If you’ve noticed the pretty strawberry blond with the ready smile behind the druggists’ counter at Stoner Drug in Hamburg, then you’ve noticed their new pharmacist, a 2010 graduate of Hamburg High, Megan Gardner.
After her graduation from Hamburg, Megan spent four years as an undergraduate in biochemistry at Nebraska University in Lincoln, three years in pharmacy school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and then spent one year doing rotation at different practice sites. Megan will be In Hamburg on Tuesdays  and on other days will be serving patients in Tabor, Villisca and Rock Port.
Megan, a country music fan, lists as her hobbies, scrapbooking, reading, concerts and watching her favorite TV show, “Grey’s Anatomy”. Her favorite place to visit is Omaha with her college friends.
When asked why Pharmacy, Megan responded that she wanted something in the health field and she liked the interaction with patients and their questions about medicines.
Megan is the daughter of Hamburg residents, Charles and Debbie Gardner. Megan is a member of the First United Methodist church of Hamburg. We’re all glad that she came back home to practice her Pharmacy skills.
