The Otoe County 4-H Foundation is hosting its annual banquet on Saturday, February 4, at the Kimmel Event Center in Syracuse.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m., appetizers will be enjoyed at 6:30 p.m., with prime rib and smoked chicken breast dinner served at 7:00 p.m.
The banquet program will highlight the mission of the Otoe County 4-H Foundation and provide a fun evening to raise funds for the future of 4-H in Otoe County.  
United States Representative Jeff Fortenberry will be the featured speaker.  Representative Fortenberry is a former 4-H Alumni, who was the National Poultry Judging Champion.  He was presented his award by Colonel Sanders from Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Banquet tickets are $25 a piece or $180 for a table of eight.  Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Otoe County Extension Office by Wednesday, January 25 at 402-269-2301 or by contacting an Otoe County 4-H Foundation Director.  Board of Directors include:  Anna Bohlken, John Crook, Wayne Clymer, Mark Easter, Dave Hall, Lacy Johnson, Donna Sluka Smith, and Wendy Werner.
