The Hamburg boys’ and girls’ basketball team opened the 2009-10 season at home against Clarinda Academy on Tuesday.
Marissa Robinson, Megan Gardner and Paige O’Barsky hit double digits to lead the girls’ to a 74-26 victory.
Clarinda topped the Wildcat boys’ team by a final of 85-41.
Both teams will return to action at Fremont-Mills on Friday. Game time is set for 6:15 p.m. for the girls’ team with boys’ action to follow.
