Matt Meyer’s haircut at Cornerstone Church Sunday raised over $400 for a youth mission trip to Northern Ireland.

Megan Hotsenpillar, a student at the College of Hair Design, did the cutting after votes to keep his hair were insufficient after raising $142. Votes for the hair cut gained $265.

Meyer’s mom, Cathy, said she had donated in the jar to keep the hair, but accepted the outcome.
“It was good to see what he looks like again” she said.

Three members of the Cornerstone Youth Group are planning a missions trip to Ireland in July.
