Incumbent Fremont County Supervisor Chuck Larson submitted petitions to run as an Independent in the upcoming November election for supervisor. Larson is seeking a third term on the Board.
He said his decision to run as an Independent was based on winning nine out of 11 precincts in the Democratic primary election and his supporters asking him to file.
“We have a lot of good things going on in the County and I want to be able to help promote them in the future,” said Larson. His candidacy was certified and his name will appear on the ballot as an independent.
Speck Hendrickson and Bart Bartholomew received the nominations of the Democratic party.
Also on the ballot will be Republican candidates Donald McAllister and Randy Hickey.
